Who We Are

The North Carolina Association of Free Clinics, founded in 1998, is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that conducts advocacy, research, public relations, resource development, training and technical assistance on behalf of its member Free Clinics and the people they serve.

Our Mission

To support and advocate for member Free Clinics and the populations they serve.

• One of the Largest state Free Clinic associations in the Country; our membership is comprised of 70+ member Free Clinics serving 79 counties in North Carolina.
• An active member of the National Association of Free Clinics - recently featured on the Dr.Oz Show.
• An Advocate for helping those who serve the Uninsured and Underinsured in North Carolina.
