General Information and Use

Members Only Access
Many features of this site are available only to Members of NCAFC. This includes the board, staff members or volunteers of any current Member of NCAFC. Members can register to use the site by contacting NCAFC.

Viewing Your Organization and Individual Profiles
If you're a registered user of the website, then you can view your individual and organizational profile(s). Each user has his/her own profile with pertinent information about you, which you can change yourself whenever you want. Your organization also has a profile, which is provided and updated by the primary contact in your organization (usually the ED).

Many documents on this site are in a PDF format. You'll need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® to view them. Click on the icon to download the Reader.

Our Focus
The focus of NCAFC is to serve independent free clinics in communities across North Carolina. Therefore, our priority is to respond to inquiries from North Carolina, and in particular our member free clinics. We do not provide technical assistance services to those outside North Carolina. If you are from a free clinic in another state, contact the
National Association of Free Clinics for information about the association of nonprofits in your area.

NCAFC Members and other website visitors that register to use

Listservs and Forums
NCAFC Members will be encouraged to join our listservs (free of charge) as a way to communicate with their peers, once they are available. Participation is optional and is restricted to current Members. You must sign up
in order to be added. You may be removed by contacting our webmaster. Users of listservs and forums agree to use these for lawful purposes and are prohibited from posting on the any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or obscene material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law. This applies to any posting that could be termed as Sexual Harassment and/or Discrimination.

Survey and Polls
From time to time, we may offer surveys and/or interactive polls to users so they can share their opinions with others users, see what our users think about important issues or to better target our content. Participation in the surveys and/or polls is optional. Opinions and responses are not identifiable to any particular user. We may share aggregated demographic information with partners or supporters. We never share any information about specific individuals with any third party.
